Fall Simplicity Home Tour

This Fall Simplicity Home tour is how to add touches of seasonal decor to your home. Today, I’m joining 16 other bloggers as we welcome you into our homes!

It’s October, friends!

And this little statement pillow couldn’t be more true of me!

I am so thankful for October – first off, it’s my birth month. But the change happens in October.

I know that September brings the official change of seasons, but that crisp air that speaks to my soul comes in the month of October along with my favorite season of all.

So, I’ve put together a Fall Simplicity Home Tour for you, where I share how to add easy glimpses of autumn throughout your home.

If you are coming here from one of my friend’s blogs, Welcome to Noting Grace! I’m Jen and I love to share how to renew, create and decorate your home without breaking the bank.

I just loved how cozy Susan’s home was! She approached her decor with simplicity this year like me and it is stunning.

Let’s get started with my home, shall we? Grab a cup, get cozy and let’s have some fall fun!

The first room you see when you enter our home is our dining room.

I got these linen chairs for our eat-in kitchen last spring, but I loved how they looked in here.

Especially against my hutch!

I set the table with a long gray scarf as the anchor down the center.

I surrounded a picture filled with faux eucalyptus with woven and bark covered pumpkins and loose dried eucalyptus leaves scattered about.

For the place settings, I used some aqua charger plates that I found at a clearance center.

I added my favorite white plates and these cute pumpkin plates that came from the Target Dollar Spot.

For those of you new to my blog, I love ALL things milk glass and over the years, I’ve collected these mini milk glass medicine jars.

So, I added some moss to the top and sprigs of dusty miller greenery to make a centerpiece for each plate.

I love all the textures and many colors of green mixed together.

Last week, I shared my fall mantel decor and had to include it here for this home tour!

I kept everything neutral and simple with soft greens and white pumpkins.

Under my DIY TV Cover, I placed my collection of Vintage Ball Jars with some burlap leaves.

You can find sources for this room in my Fall Mantel Post.

Off this room is our French Farmhouse Sunroom that we just completed and I had fun adding touches of color to this room.

Since this room is light and bright, I added a few hints of color here and there.

I love this multi-colored throw on my sofa.

It’s a beautiful room that allows all the warmth and sunlight in, so adding the orange hues are the perfect finishing touch!

Lastly on this Fall Simplicity Home Tour, I wanted to share my eat in kitchen with you all.

Using a simple approach to this room, I took cues from my Dining table and incorporated them here.

So more of the same items were used on my eat-in table.

So I used the same bark covered pumpkins and love how they highlight my DIY Fall Hoop Wreath.

By simply adding a few warm tones to my kitchen, like these vintage crocks, it gave just the right feel for my Farmhouse Kitchen.

‘Less is More’ was the theme to this seasonal decorating.

We are embarking on the One Room Challenge, and when that is going on, the overwhelm can easily take over.

So I wanted to surround myself with fall decor, but went with a muted approach that still allowed me to relax and rest when I need it.

I hope this inspires you, despite any crazy busy schedule you may be in the throws of, to carve out small corners of decor in your home.

Celebrating the season can be simple, but still beautiful!
