Truth be told, I have never decorated our bedroom for Christmas before, but after decking the halls this year, I may have just found a new tradition!
As a result, this Buffalo Check Inspired Christmas Bedroom has me changing my tune.
Why not grab a cuppa, sit a spell, and follow along with me and 11 other bloggers as we share our Favorite Christmas rooms?
Since you are here from She Gave It A Go – I want to say welcome! I just loved Brendt’s Christmas-y living room and entry! We especially share a love for tobacco baskets!
BUFFALO CHECK INSPIRED CHRISTMAS BEDROOM
When we made over our Master Bedroom this past spring, we had a lot of fun bringing some of our favorite pieces into the room. Now I’m loving them even more seeing them a festive-fied!
This little corner is all gussied up with hints of plaid and buffalo check. The black knobs on the chest look perfect next to those cozy blankets. I replaced the vintage print I had hanging on my window with last years Buffalo Check Wreath I made.
I adorned our DIY blanket ladder with a festive stocking.
This little sign comes from Par la Grace and matches the black and red perfectly!
I mixed greenery and red berries to create a simply garland on my bed frame.
Then I used simple red ribbon to hang this wreath.
Now I have to be honest.
I’m shocked that the wreath has stayed in place because let’s just say that I’m acreative sleeper!
Trent is waiting for the night when that wreath falls flat on his face due to my rogue arm movements. But so far, so good!
On my bedside, I filled a milkglass bowl with some furry ornaments I found last year.
Aren’t those the cutest?
I adorned my closet door and our DIY Barn Door with wee little wreaths with the same ribbon I used to hang the wreath on my bed.
So let me share one of my favorite spots in my home.
Specifically, this is my escape.
It’s my refuge to run away from all the testosterone into my swirly, girly Wingback Chair. Of course, with a good book and a cup of coffee!
A sweet bouquet of poinsettias certainly create just the perfect spot.
Lastly for this Buffalo Check inspired Christmas bedroom, I styled my dough bowl with a fun sign I found last year at Hobby Lobby, along with sprigs of greenery and wood beads.
Just enough decor that, as a result, gets me in the Christmas spirit from the moment I wake up!
And finally, a special thanks to Tara and Bree from The Homemaking Momma for all their hard work coordinating this home tour.
