European Farmhouse Kitchen Inspiration
I am pining for another kitchen update. This last one we did in a hurry and on a dime. So I’ve been gathering some European Farmhouse Kitchen Inspiration ideas and thought I’d share them with you.
I love my kitchen ever since we remodeled it – but I have a confession.
It’s not my dream kitchen.
We updated our kitchen 2 years ago and we did everything on a budget, which means, we worked with what we had.
But there are few things that I want to change, like my counters and a small layout change.
I’ve been crushing on European Farmhouse lately.
It’s the perfect marriage of the current farmhouse trend with vintage touches and hints of French inspired decor.
But there’s a change going on in me searching for more simplicity in my life.
Less is more and this is just what I have been looking for.
So I thought it would be fun to share some European Farmhouse Kitchen inspiration pics that I’m currently loving!

There is so much about this kitchen from Charlotte Reiss that makes me smile. In fact, if you want to dream of visiting a gorgeous home nestled away in beautiful France, check her out!
I love the wood counters with the mixture of marble backsplash. Simple but classy.
The brass faucet and open shelving compliment that apron front sink so perfectly.
And that floor! All the heart eyes for this space!
There are so many details that I love with this kitchen!
So this is definitely a favorite of mine – head over to see the entire room that Jackie styled perfectly!
Swoonworthy!
Jenna Sue created a statement with that stove – which I see as a common trend with the European Farmhouse flair.
The open shelving – stoneware, tarnished silver and accent wall for the oven.
I LOVE this layout.
Deb has really embraced the European Farmhouse trend and I absolutely love her kitchen.
Again, another stunning focal piece with that stove. I would love a pot filler like hers!
Plus those windows stop me every time!
Are you seeing the simplicity trend here?
It looks so open and clean!
The counters are my favorite in Cami’s European Farmhouse kitchen.
She recently updated her kitchen and you can read all about the details on her blog.
The gorgeous mixture of vintage goodies on those shelves are so pretty!
This ceiling in Liz Marie’s kitchen has been a longtime favorite of mine!
I also love the open shelving and peg board she uses above her countertops.
I would love to add the beams and planked ceiling to our kitchen but keep the beams wood-toned.
I love that mirrored backsplash.
And the combo of the wood and whites makes me want to sing!
Humphrey Munson has tons of kitchens that are oh so inspiring.
I love this website – it has the perfect aesthetic for what I want to do so I visit it often.
Open spaces, but functional and homey.
Classic lines and so simple design.
One thing I notice in their designs is that the refrigerator isn’t prominent, which is part of my design plan.
I would love to find a way to hide our fridge someway.
So the timing of this kitchen makeover is way up in the air.
But a girl can dream, right?
