Celebrating Fall Mantel Decor

While it’s not officially fall yet, that hasn’t stopped me from pulling out the Autumn decor! So join me and a group of bloggers as I share my Celebrating Fall Mantel Decor.

How do you celebrate fall?

Are you a lover of the oranges, reds and rusts?

I thought I would try a different color palette this year. But it’s not the normal hues that scream “FALL IS HERE!”

So, my Celebrating Fall Mantel Decor is subdued and simple.

And, today you are in luck! My dear friend, Leen from Sand Dollar Lane invited me to join her Celebrating Fall Home Tour Series and I’m honored to be part of this group! So you have a slew of posts to gander at filled with lots of color and I know you’ll find something that fits your fancy.

If you are coming from my sweet friend Deb at Seeking Lavender Lane – welcome to Noting Grace! She has some simple, yet stunning fall additions to her home!

Today, I am sharing my den and how I’ve styled my fireplace mantel for the season using items I already had on hand.

Green Baby’s Breath Garland – Hobby Lobby
Blue Glass Bottles – Here and Here
Burlap Leaves – Amazon
Vintage Ball Jars – You can always find these on Etsy
Faux Heirloom Pumpkins – Hobby Lobby

To begin with, I started with this simple mirror I found at an antique store. Originally, it was dark brown, so I sanded it down to match the unfinished look of my fireplace mantel.

First, I started with this green Baby’s Breath Garland that I purchased last year. I loved the dried look and thought it would be perfect for the changing season.

After that I layered my collection of vintage blue bottles and glass carafes and added a creamy pumpkin here and there.

Adding few more sprigs of greenery, I called it finished!

I wanted simplicity this season and loved the uniform look.

Along the hearth, I placed these faux heirloom pumpkins.

On the other side of the hearth, I placed this wooden lantern I found at Kirkland’s years ago.

So this Celebrating Fall Mantel Decor took me about 20 minutes to style. Of course, I love that by reusing what I had on hand, it was such an economical way to decorate.

The last thing I styled for this room was my unfinished wood dresser under my TV Cabinet.

Pssst – behind those doors is my TV! Sneaky, huh?

Having those blue bottles on my mantel wanted to make me tie in more across the room, so I added my vintage Ball Jar collection under the TV.

I also had these burlap leaves from a craft I did a few years back and loved the texture they added.

I think everything is tied together so nicely for this room.

Lastly, I added a few more vintage bottles on the side table next to the couch.

So now I have to decide how I’m going to fallify my newly renovated sunroom! I hope you come back as I slowly bring out more and more decor.

Next on the stop is my dear friend Julie from My Wee Abode. I also had the joy of meeting her this past summer at the Haven Conference and she is such a sweet lady! And, of course, her home is simply lovely!
