My 5 Walmart Finds and How I Styled Them
Do you love shopping around for the best deals? Wait until you see my 5 Walmart finds and how I styled them!
I went to our Super Walmart the other day to pick up some toiletries and I found myself in the home decor section.
I don’t how it happens, but like a moth to the flame, I’m suddenly checking out all the new decor.
Have you seen the home decor items at Walmart lately?
They have truly upped their game and I’m here to say that I like it a lot. Imagine my best dumb and dumber impression there. 😉
There are many affordable options that can refresh your space for not a lot of money. Here’s what I found.
My 5 Walmart Finds and How I Styled Them
(Some affiliate links are provided below. Full disclosure here.)
I realized once I got home was that all the items I found were from Better Homes and Gardens line.
However, there are many other fabulous decor lines you can check out. Like Gap Home, Pioneer Woman, as well as the the Walmart Mainstays brand.
I was able to get all 5 finds for just around $100 bucks.
Gray Better Homes and Gardens Tufted Trellis Pillows
You need these pillows in your life, if for one reason only.
The gush factor.
If you are a pillow hugger like me, then you will love how soft and squishy these are.
I have already owned a pair of these for my sunroom in cream. And my boys instantly commented on how soft they were.
So when I found them in this beautiful gray color, I had to get them!
At about $15 a pillow – that is a steal! I got two for our living room sofa.
Better Homes and Gardens Cotton Fringe Pillow Pair
Now these pillows came in a set.
And who doesn’t love a two-fer?
These pillows are 20 x 20 and I like the larger size to help fill in space on my sofa.
Now these definitely aren’t as gushy as the other pillows, but I love the pairing of light and dark gray together.
$20 for the pair is a great deal and the fringe adds a fun, textured element to the sofa.
Better Homes and Garden Porcelain Pitcher
If you have followed me for a while, then you know that some of my favorite things to collect include white pottery.
So when I saw this pitcher for around $15 – it went right in my cart.
Pitchers are great to add to any room.
Obviously the kitchen or dining table works, but I love to have them on entry tables, coffee tables and even bedside tables filled with fresh flowers or faux greenery.
Better Homes and Gardens Hyacinth Woven Tray
I love woven hyacinth.
The texture is clean with a uniform color. And I totally dig the smell.
Yup, I’m the weird lady sniffing things in the store!
The only downside about hyacinth baskets is the cost. They are on the higher side.
But every now and then you can find a steal. I scored my hyacinth side table on clearance a few years ago.
So I was instantly drawn to this woven tray when I saw it.
This basket tray is about $29 and you can use it for so many things, like centerpieces, coffee table styling or even bathroom organization!
I love the texture it adds to the room.
Better Homes and Wood and Glass Lantern
I’ve owned this taller lantern for many years, but I’ve never liked how it looks by itself.
So I found it a new friend!
This was in the patio section at Walmart and it came in 3 different sizes.
I chose the smallest one since my other lantern is so big. Plus the small one was only $18!
The candle is battery operated and it looks perfect on our Lime Slurry Fireplace.
So for about $100 bucks, I was able to add some fun and fresh decor to our Living Room.
I love finding new items for my home, but I also love finding deals when I can.
It doesn’t take a lot of money to change the look to any room by adding new accessories.
