Spring In to Summer Living Room Refresh
I’m feeling the itch to switch and welcome the upcoming season into my home. Here is my Spring in to Summer Living Room Refresh.
I can’t believe that we are already in May!
That means time keeps on slippin, slippin, slipping… into the future.
But that almost means that school is almost out and that summer is just around the corner.
So I’m giving my living room – which I affectionately call the Jen Den – a seasonal refresh!
And today you are in for a special treat!
I am joining almost 30 different bloggers sharing their own spaces they have given a summer refresh.
At the bottom of this post, you can check out all the other bloggers sharing their homes today.
And if this is your first visit to Noting Grace, then Welcome! So grab a cup of coffee, take off your shoes and make yourself at home.
So let’s get on with the tour!

So I started out this room refresh by swapping out some greenery on my mantel. This fern garland that I found from At Home fit perfectly.
I think that greenery is the easiest way to change out your decor for the season.
In Spring, I like to use lighter colored green, but once summer comes, I swap it out for deeper greens, which is what I loved about this fern garland.
Adding a few blue bottles to the mantel gave it a light refresh.
On the bookcase under my DIY Wall Mounted TV Cabinet, I added a few more touches of blue with some vintage ball jars and medicine bottles.
I love how the light reflects off the bottles.
My TV Cabinet opens up accordion style to reveal the TV, while also showing my art while it’s open.
The doors are made with picture frames that I filled with some printables of vintage tree drawings.
If you want to check out my free printables, you can check them out here.
Since I do everything on a budget, then I opted to reuse as much decor that I already owned for this season.
So, it’s always fun to restyle decor in new ways.
This room is typically dark since there aren’t windows in this room.
So I strategically placed mirrors to help reflect the light.
So that’s the room refresh in a nutshell.
Simple seasonal changes that only took a hour or so to swap out and style is the way to go!
Especially these busy days I’ve been having.
So I hope this inspires you to refresh your space this season.
And now for some more inspiration!
Thank you Hannah!! Enjoy your week!
It is so nice to put the big, black box away, especially when company is over!
Thanks. Christin – I love adding my favorite vintage items!
