If you are here from Kendall Rayburn’s blog, welcome – we are so honored to have you joining us on this tour of some incredible bloggers.

I love Blog Home Tours, because seeing how others decorate their homes with each change of season or holiday is so inspiring. But even more, I love being a part of a Blog Home Tour – especially when I can team up with Deb from Seeking Lavender Lane and over 30 talented bloggers and an amazing company like Kirkland’s!

Recently, I’ve been adding rich, cozy navys throughout my home, like my Painted Hutch. I especially wanted to incorporate this season’s hottest color in my fall decor.

Here’s how I added Cozy Fall Farmhouse Decor in Navy and Orange to my home.

Blue is my favorite color, but for the past few years, I’ve stuck with neutrals as I’ve been trying to learn what would work in my Almost Farmhouse.

One challenge specifically that I wanted to overcome was being tied to the typical color wheel that each season or holiday dictates.

So how was I going to incorporate Cozy Fall Farmhouse Decor in Navy and Orange?

To begin with, I started with wood.

Adding natural wood elements was important while styling for this fall. Since I recently made over my Deconstructed Armchair and my Unfinished Wood Dresser, I wanted to continue that warmth of the woods in other ways.

When I found this LED Natural Wood Lantern, my heart skipped a beat!

But I knew it would look perfect next to my tobacco basket fireplace cover. Together with a few shiny pumpkins finished off the look!

I wanted the dominant color to be navy, so I added touches of orange here and there, like in my floral arrangements, pumpkins and with a few pillows.

So I needed one more fix, These orangey salmon colored Linen button pillows from Kirklands are the perfect solution.

This galvanized metal and wood rim bowl is perched on my ottoman. I love how cozy Fall Farmhouse Decor in Navy and Orange together with my neutral colors look.

Adding a few throw blankets always softens the edges, beckoning you to come, sit and rest a while.

The faux chinese lantern plants add just the right pop of color such as displayed here in my Chicken Wire Bottle Vase Runner. Together with a few more metallic pumpkins provides the finishing touch.

I so hope this inspires you to think outside the box a bit and to add your favorite color into your seasonal decor and not be tied to the typical color wheel the season calls for.
