Celebrating Fall in our Entryway

Is it too early to start bringing out the fall decor? No way! I have started adding touches of fall to my home. This is how we are celebrating Fall in our entryway.

This time every year, I get so excited whenever I start to see the fall decor hitting the stores.

Pumpkins, crunchy leaves, and crisp fall air is my love language.

So when Leen from Sand Dollar Lane asked if I wanted to join in a Fall blog hop, I jumped at the chance! She did an amazing job gathering some oh so awesome bloggers for you!

What better way to usher in the season with a group of wonderful gals also sharing their homes newly decorated for the season.

If you are new to blog hops, it’s a fun way to find decor inspiration by hopping from one blog post to the next until you reach the beginning again. And if you are coming to Noting Grace from Patti’s blog, Hearth and Vine – then Welcome! Isn’t Patti’s front porch so cute?

I love all things DIY and finding solutions for our home – but on a shoestring budget. You can read more about me and my family. I would love to connect with you, so leave me a comment below and say hello!

This season, I found a Fall color combo that I love!

I had so much fun making over this chicken coop cabinet. It was a much needed solution to help disguise our ugly air vent that greeted visitors when they came to my home.

So I swapped out all the Spring decor and made it all perfect for fall.

Vintage books are some of my go to items I always purchase at estate sales and thrift stores.

You can find out my 5 favorite things to collect – like those little creamers! Those are certainly on the list.

Another thing I love to collect is tarnished silver.

I just love how the colors vary with each piece.

So I made that the focal point that says hello when you open my front door.

I paired it with a copper melting pot I found at the Country Living Fair along with some vintage amber bottles.

This grouping of vintage yumminess make my heart sing!

In the tarnished pitcher, I placed some rust colored ferns and orange pomegranite berries – all faux of course.

This pitcher is one of my favorite pieces. It belonged to Trent’s great grandparents and is tarnished to perfection.

So to continue with the color theme, I added more silver and copper items to the shelves on the chicken coop.

I purposely keep these shelves very simple. Since this is a working air vent, I don’t want to impede the air flow by blocking it too much. So I decorate it sparsely.

Similarly, I’m finding my eyes are drawn to more minimalist stylings.

Plus, my life is already super crazy, so I don’t need any extra busyness in my life! Gnome sayin?

So to keep in the same vein, I swapped out the frame over my chicken coop shelves.

This frame was gifted to me from my SIL and because of all the copper tones, it matches this space perfectly.

But I didn’t have any artwork that seemed to fit my color theme.

So I found some free artwork online and printed out this DIY vintage drawing of a fall leaf for the picture.

Stay tuned – I will share these free printables soon!
