Casual Black White and Green Christmas Tablescape
Sometimes it doesn’t have to be elegant to be beautiful. Today I am so excited to share my casual black green and white Christmas tablescape with you.
I find it funny how inspiration strikes.
Often times it’s the oddest things that draw the creativity.
For this room, when I found these simple napkins at Hobby Lobby – that did it.
I just loved the black and white and green together.
The soft plaid colors just screamed cozy to me. Of course, I had to had them!
And I can’t wait to show you my dining room all decked out for Christmas! So let’s jump right into to this room!
Casual Black, Green and White Christmas Tablescape
I had this leftover decorator paper that I used as backing in our hallway closet update.
But after trimming, it was a perfect fit as a buffalo check table runner.
I love the crinkly paper, and the muted texture.
I didn’t have much budget to spend on this room, so purchases were minimal.
One way to save costs, I took existing chargers and flip them upside down.
The black works perfectly for this table.
These small trees wrapped in buffalo check fabric came from Walmart and were so affordable!
I set up my King of Christmas 7 1/2 foot flocked tree in the corner.
I trimmed it out with shiny and matte black ornaments.
I’ve had these fun fur ornaments for years!
I thought they added some fun to the tree.
And the shedding flocking on the ornaments looks like fresh snow!
I did buy these buffalo check ornaments this year.
And this ribbon with this simple script acts perfectly as a garland.
I topped the tree with a big buffalo check bow and called it done!
I thought my painted hutch worked perfectly with this color scheme!
Earlier this year, I updated my hutch using one of my custom colors from my Noting Grace capsule collection with RomaBio paints.
This color is called Iron City, named after my town of Birmingham.
All my tarnished silver pops against that handsome hue!
So to add a bit of Christmas to my hutch, I used these old place card holders that I got last year.
I simply removed the metal holders, and had these miniature trees left!
It ties the table and hutch together perfectly.
But what table is complete without a centerpiece?
I wanted a casual black, green and white Christmas tablescape – nothing fancy. So I kept things simple.
Simple Christmas greenery in a replica enamel milk pitcher.
So it all started with this little napkin and I love how it turned out.
When you’re in need of some inspiration for your home, don’t be afraid to think outside the box.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
So I hope this inspired you and gets you ready for a casual Christmas meal with your family.
