Start by building a frame using 1 x 2 boards to the size that you need for your space. You can attach the boards together with nails, screws, or brackets like this one.

Cover the frame you've built in batting.  This will soften the hard edges once you wrap fabric around the wood frame.

Next, you want to fill the cavity with high density foam. We've used mattress toppers cut to size, which is very affordable!

Here's a Tip: The foam can be flimsy and want to move. So secure them with plastic strapping found at your hardware store.

Cut your fabric about 2 inches larger than your wood frame. We used high quality felt.

Lay your panels on top of the fabric facing down and attach using a staple gun.

Tip Number Two:  A pneumatic stapler makes the job much easier!
