Welcoming the New Year with Friends
Today is our Welcome Home Saturday Happy New Year edition! 2022 is here and I am ready to hit the ground running. I am so excited to share my very first post of 2022 with you welcoming the New Year with some blogging friends!

Happenings at Home
We stayed in last night and had our traditional NYE treats and played card games and watched the Beatles Get Back Documentary. Some say that whatever you do on New Year’s Eve you will do for the rest of the year.
Family time and music? I’ll take it all day long!
Our youngest was away though, but our hearts were happy because he ushered in the New Year worshipping our Lord with his youth group in Florida.
We plan to spend the weekend finishing up our ‘chill time’ but are eager to get back into project mode on Monday!
New Projects
Next up on the project list for us are the last 2 small rooms in our basement, our bathroom and kitchenette.
Trent got a last minute Christmas surprise when he found out his all-time favorite band is releasing a pinball machine.
So we need to get the kitchenette finished before the machine arrives in early Spring.
Later this week, I will share our hopes and plans for 2022 for the rest of our house, so stay tuned!
Some of my blogging friends are taking this weekend to enjoy time with their family, so this week’s decor digest is a bit shorter.
But I couldn’t resist welcoming the New Year with my blogging friends!
