Welcome Home Sunday Week 93
Each Week, a group of home decor bloggers share their posts to inspire and encourage you. This is Welcome Home Sunday Week 93.

Hey there stranger!
It’s been radio silence from me for a bit and all is well.
But it’s been a tough few weeks.
About 2 weeks ago, my mom came to visit.
By the way, she LOVED her guest room and I can’t wait to share that with you soon.
And we had the best visit – laughing over coffee, shopping together the little that we could, and sweet time with her grandkids.
But we had a tragic loss right in the middle of her visit.
And from there, things went askew.
Trent’s family were devastated with this sudden loss in our family – as was I – and my mom cut her trip short so we could grieve with the family.
What made it the most difficult was that the wounds from my own fathers death were barely healed.
So all that pain came back to the surface.
Time was needed to focus on our little family and those we love so taking a step back was much needed.
But, as with all things, life goes on.
It feels weird to pick up where you left off and begin again, but it’s what we are to do, with faith and hope. By focusing on the Lord during these difficult times, it truly makes that transition easier.
So get ready for me to get back in the saddle this week as I begin to roll out details of the guest room makeover.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this week’s posts!
