It’s happened, y’all!

Here in Birmingham, the temps have finally dropped and I think we could possibly say goodbye to the 80 degree days until 2021.

Doesn’t that sound lovely?

That’s what makes me happy!

And do you want to know what else makes me happy?

Spending time with my family, but this week is extra special!

My sweet Momma has come down from Kentucky and is staying with us.

It’s part of my birthday present and it’s the best gift ever!

This Friday marks 47 orbits around the sun for me and as I age, the gift of time together means more to me than anything else.

So, while I didn’t get the guest room completed 100%, it’s ready for company.

All that’s left are the fine details and Mom and I are going to have some fun time together hunting those treasures.

Don’t worry, I’ll be rolling out some detailed posts soon and can’t wait to share them with you.

In the meantime, we are going to have so much fun laughing and sharing coffee in the morning reminiscing over family memories!
