Welcome Home Sunday #51
Each week, a group of bloggers gather together, sharing their homes to inspire you with this Welcome Home Sunday #51 post. We hope you enjoy!

So Christmas is officially over.
I can’t even believe it! All the twinkly lights and Christmas greenery are gone at my home and I already miss them.
But do you know what is baffling me even more?
But in just a few hours, we will be entering into a new decade.
And it dawned on me that in this decade, I will see both my children learn to drive, graduate from high school and hopefully college.
It may even hold marriages!
And babies!
I’m dumbstruck at the thought of it all.
But I’m also excited to see what amazing things will come. It won’t all be beautiful and wonderful, but I know that Our Lord loves us so.
The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness;
and He will quiet you by his love;
He will exult over you with loud singing.
Zephaniah 3:17
This is a favorite verse and I have in my office.
When times are difficult, I look to this verse for comfort. Not only is He with me always, but He rejoices over me – with singing!
It’s so humbling knowing His immense love for us, failures and mistakes and all.
So, with this promise, I look forward to the decade to come, having peace and comfort in Him.
But now onto our Welcome Home Sunday post. I am so excited to have Sonya from At Home with the Barkers joining us. She and I also had the opportunity to meet this past summer and she is just a delight!
So grab a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy this week’s posts!
