This is such a busy time of year, isn’t it?

Shopping, baking, parties, school events – you can seem like you are going non-stop sometimes.

But we need to take the time to reflect on what this season is truly about.

Taking a moment to sit quietly and rejoicing in the celebration of the birth of our Lord.

And it’s also about giving. But I don’t mean presents.

Gathering together with friends and family and giving your time, love and attention is so very important!

I sit surrounded by family today.

And I so very grateful for this time.

So, friend, I encourage you to stop and rest in Him. Allow the hustle and bustle to fall away and sit still – even if only for a moment.
