Welcome Home Sunday #48

Today marks a special day. Today is my oldest’s birthday. It is the day when my gentle giant tumbled into this world forever changing my life, and giving me the best name ever. Mom!

Why is he called my gentle giant?

Well first let’s talk about his size.

He has never been little!

We induced one week early and he was still the biggest baby in the nursery. They had to go to the NICU to get diapers to fit him.

Now this young man stands 6 foot 6 and he has the most kind heart. He has a love for the Lord, truly wants to see the best in others, and encourages me to be better each day.

Which is why he’s called my gentle giant.

So today will be filled with birthday shenanigans, lots of fun and laughter, and of course chocolate cake!
