Welcome Home Saturday Week 150

Each week, we share home decor and DIY inspiration from some of my favorite bloggers. This is Welcome Home Saturday Week 150.

My home is almost ready for Christmas, which is really late for Home Decor Bloggers.

This week, we lost a precious family member and have been gathering together to celebrate the life of our loved one.

And it makes you put everything in perspective.

The trees will be finished, and the mantel will be decorated in time.

But what is important at this time is being together and for each other.

It’s not about the perfect place setting or whether the food turned out just right.

It’s not about how you decorated your tree or if you got the perfect present for someone.

All of that fades away with time and the only thing we can hold fast to are those closest to us.

So if you feel like you are behind in setting up your Christmas, or maybe don’t even feel like putting up the tree this year, it’s okay.

The holidays will still come, and there is joy that can be had.

Just give yourself grace with that to do list and take a moment to usher in the upcoming Advent season as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

This week, I am so excited that Jen from Cottage on Bunker Hill is joining us! She is sharing the cutest Christmas Village!
