Every weekend, I love connecting with some of my favorite decor bloggers to share what we did over the week. This is Welcome Home Saturday Week 138.

Hooray for September – which means the first day of fall is just a few days away!

I always feel so productive whenever there’s a change of seasons.

Kids are heading back to school, new routines are being started and new projects are on the horizon.

Since work for Trent has temporarily slowed in this late summer heat, I’ve been taking advantage of his time at home.

So we tackled a bunch of projects this week that I’ll be sharing soon!

Like finishing the flooring in our basement, wrapping up the details on our home gym, and giving our fireplace a quick update.

And I’ve decided to participate in this Fall’s One Room Challenge. It’s where you take a room in your home and transform it over an 8 week period along with hundreds of other bloggers and DIYers.

It’s super fun and always inspiring to see what everyone does with their rooms.

At the end of this month, we’ll start transforming our basement family room!

And I have some fun fall blog hops on the horizon, so be sure to check back often to see our home all decked out for the season.
