Welcome Home Saturday Week 124

Each week I am honored to join a group of talented bloggers sharing their homes. This is Welcome Home Saturday Week 124.

It was a big week here at the Fancher household.

I am now a parent of a high school graduate.

And I didn’t cry too much!

My mom came into town and spent the week with us to celebrate this monumental occasion.

Now my son is a homebody and on the shy side, so there won’t be a big celebration happening and that’s okay. This is his day and his moment, so he should celebrate the way that he wants to.

And small, meaningful exchanges matter much more than a grandiose shindig.

So next comes all the prep work for his entrance into college and I will be soaking up every moment I can with this amazing young man.

So if you have any advice for this newbie college momma – send it my way – it will all be welcomed with open arms!
