Welcome Home Saturday with Open Doors, Open Hearts
Welcome Home Saturday is a home decor digest with some of my favorite bloggers. This week, we have Aliya from Open Doors, Open Hearts as guest host!
The weather has finally warmed up, which means our busy season has begun.
If you weren’t aware, during the pandemic, my husband opened up his own Limewashing business here in Birmingham.

So with that warm weather, Trent’s painting season begins.
And I have to admit, I’m so happy it’s starting up again.
As musicians, we are used to storing up our nuts for those lean, in between gig times. And we are almost to bare bones with our savings.
So a busy calendar means a full bank account!
But I’m still trying to steal him here and there to help out with a few projects we have coming up.
Happenings at Home
Spring is here, but that also means Spring Break is upon us.
This is our first time that our boys will have separate breaks happening on different weeks.
It will be good to have our son home from college for a week!
New Projects
We are still plowing away at our Kitchenette basement remodel.
Our flooring is finally complete and I plan to share our tips on how we covered our old, ugly linoleum next week. So be sure to come back for that post!
This weekend, we are hoping to get our new kitchen sink installed and lemme tell ya! It’s soooooo gorgeous! Here’s a hint – it’s copper!
